Where Have You Gone?
Hey you, you're wandering again, spaced out into a far-flung universe while Earth beckons for your attention, for your presence. You have not heard a word I said, have you? Whatever weighs on your mind has placed an anchor, a stronghold that pulls you, grounds you, contorts, controls and subdues you. The thoughts of what could have been, what can be and what really is toss you around and squash you, burying you so far down into the darkness, jeering as they win this game.
Hey you, yes I know.......you thought some things would last forever and you believed some things should have gone your way but why don't you let those things teach you...mold you, water you, feed you...let the things that you thought you couldn't survive but eventually did, nurture your growth. I desire for you to bloom, with elegant, elongated spines that berth roots of harmony wherever they trail. Rebel for your soul and take back your glory and stop leaving me to play search and find, while you wearily traverse another world. I am sincerely frightened that one day you will retreat into the chaos of your mind and get lost there, stay there, scared there. Hey you, where have you gone?
Hey you, so he didn't love you back and he discarded you but didn't you learn the countless lessons needed for you to bloom? Where have you gone, I have been calling your name, calling to reach for your hand and bring you back to the present, where life is really happening. Misplaced in a virtual labyrinth, you convince yourself that it is real, letting delusion become your master and you its helpless slave.
You are not the sum total of the cards you have been dealt but you are the equation of the many times you have rebuilt and stacked up, on strength...and courage...and hope. Your cards can arrive at the sky and surpass its limits if you can just focus on that beautiful house of peace that will be established in the end. The house where you shall reside, void of the opinions of the ones who've forgotten their sins, void of the friendly smiles with venomous- filled eyes, void of all the people in this world who have always surrounded you with ulterior motives. Your house will bring you solemnity and there you will grow to love who you meet in every mirror.
Hey you, beautiful you! Where have you gone? Whoever told you about perfection and achieving things in a certain order didn't just lie to you, they betrayed you. Thus, snap out of it, heal what's broken, rebuild the beauty within you. You were not born to please or compare, you were born to stand out, to captivate, to illuminate, to grace each room and stain with indelible speckles. I don't know where you've gone, but hey you, I am coming to find you..........
After that, saving you is entirely up to you.
